וַיִּגְּשׁ֣וּ עֲבָדָיו֮ וַיְדַבְּר֣וּ אֵלָיו֒ וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ אָבִי֙ דָּבָ֣ר גָּד֗וֹל הַנָּבִ֛יא דִּבֶּ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יךָ הֲל֣וֹא תַעֲשֶׂ֑ה וְאַ֛ף כִּֽי־אָמַ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יךָ רְחַ֥ץ וּטְהָֽר׃
Lumapit sa kanya ang kanyang mga lingkod at kinausap siya. Sinabi nila, “Aming panginoon, kung isang mabigat na bagay ang ipinagawa sa iyo ng propeta, hindi mo ba iyon gagawin? Lalo na ngayon na ang sinabi lamang niya sa iyo ay, ‹Maligo ka at maging malinis›!”

My father, indeed, see the corner of your robe that is in my hand; by my cutting off the corner of your robe but not killing you, you should know and see that there is neither evil nor rebellion in my hand, and that I have not sinned against you, yet you hunt my soul to take it.
